The ACA is happy to announce that we will be hosting the 3rd annual Rove the Cove road/trail race. The race starts and finishes in the picnic area of The Cove. Plenty of parking, bathroom facilities, t-shirts, water stations, and prizes raffled at the end. The course runs on wooded trails and winds through neighborhood streets.

• Wheel measured 5k trail and road race through Auburndale Park and surrounding neighborhoods.

• Now a USATF-sanctioned event!  Is that cool or what?
  

• "Rove the Cove" 100% cotton t-shirt to the first 100 registrants.

• All finishers 14 and under receive official finishers medal.

• Post race raffle. 
  

All fitness levels welcome! You can walk or run. Push the kids in a baby jogger. Please note that prizes are awarded through a random raffle, not place.

Results will be emailed to all registered runners and posted on coolrunning.com.

Course Description

The course was wheel-measured.

The race starts and finishes at The Cove picnic area in Auburndale Park in Auburndale, MA. You can Google the directions by using 299 W. Pine St., Newton, MA.

The course starts on the park trail and heads south to Commonwealth Ave. and then makes a loop in the Islington neighborhood. The course then retraces the trail back into the Park, passing the start line before heading out to the Staniford area. The course then heads back into the park and finishes at the picnic area. Water stations at mile 1, mile 2, and finish.

Excellent for viewing!
